Axl Rose doesn't want to look back at "old" band
Axl being Axl
No wonder not many people have good things to say about Axl Rose … Because he’s a bit of a bitch. Apparently, Rose doesn’t plan on going to Saturday’s Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland. Not only is he not attending, he also doesn’t want anyone accepting the honor on his behalf. This all stems from people urging him to play live with the original lineup. Rose says doing so would detract from the current GN’R lineup—a lineup that former drummer Steven Adler called a bunch of hacks and then later apologized. Someone from Slash’s camps says he will attend to ceremony and the Rock Hall says they still plan on inducting Rose with the rest of the group. What a friggin’ joke!
Rehearsed just down the road
When a band hits the road, they don’t just hit the road. There’s an ass ton of logistical planning that takes place. Plus there’s the stage show to get ready for. It’s a lot to handle and the divas with Nickelback know how to handle it well. They chose to do their rehearsals at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington for two weeks before they took to the road. That was at the tale end of March and the first week of April. It was kept hush-hush for a reason. The “Hear and Now Tour” is set to stop in 49 markets where the Canadian natives are expected to play to packed houses.
Speaking of Canadian natives
Word now has it that Rush will release Clockwork Angels on June 12th.
