They're going on tour
The tease was sweet and the delivery was even sweeter. No, I'm not talking about your date over the weekend ... I'm talking about the announcement of The Deftones and System of a Down ... touring ... TOGETHER! They only released a few dates (nine all together), but one of those is in Chicago at the Allstate Arena August 15th. Tickets go on sale next Saturday, May 5th. Either both bands are revving up for an album, we know that Deftones is, or they're just out to make money. Either way, this is going to be an incredible show. Deftones are in the studio finishing up a new album while SOAD is playing some shows, getting back in the grove after a 5 year hiatus.
Back with Leach
It's not pro-shot, but all you Killswitch Engage fans are gonna be happy seeing the fresh video circulating the web showing original singer Jesse Leach back with the band. The video was taken at Killswitch's first show back with Leach from over the weekend at a metal festival in Massachusetts. It's still unclear if this signals the band's return with a new record featuring Leach. Leach left the band back in 2002 after several canceled shows due to blowing his voice out.
