Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins is set to moonlight as an actor, but before he does he’s gonna have to get a serious ab workout. It’s reported in the Hollywood Reporter that Hawkins has been cast as Iggy Pop in a new movie about the infamous New York club CBGB. The film is expected to start shooting this month in Savannah, Georgia. The film crew will eventually make it up to New York to continue the shoot. No word yet on what other rock star cameos there’ll be. We’ll keep you posted.
Haven’t been able to make it to a Linkin Park concert in a while? No worries … they’re coming to a theater near you. The band will be showing a recent Berlin concert in theaters in three weeks. But it’s only gonna air in theaters one night … June 25th. Of course, it’s all an effort to promote their new album Living Things which comes out the following day.
