Green Day is joining a bunch of other bands and releasing movie-type trailers of their upcoming album. The video shows the band in and out of the studio ripping chords, slammin’ drums and also just lounging around what appears to be the band reviewing their tracks. The video finishes with a still of what could be the cover of the album iUno! and a message that pre-orders will be taken soon at GreenDay.com. iUno! will be available September 25th with two follow up albums to be made available later this year. Wanna guess what those are gonna be called? If you guessed iDos! & Tré you get a star for the day!
KISS, "The Family Guy"
It’s an ongoing bout with greed that KISS seems to have as they hook up with the makers of “The Family Guy” to make some special merchandise. Apparently, Gene Simmons and Stewie are joining teams. The Fox TV show and the rock band are partnering for a line thwt will come out this fall. What’s included? You’ll have the normal stuff like clothes and some stuffed animals. There’s also going to be bobbleheads. Flippin’ bobbleheads!? As if the world had a shortage of chinsy bobbleheads, here comes KISS and “The Family Guy” to flood the market with more! Of course, “The Family Guy” had to be vetted before they could team up with Merch Masters KISS. Paul Stanley said that the show’s consistent success makes the match ideal.
