Lamb of God's Randy Blythe in court |
We’ll get more details later today from Lamb of God about the arrest of their singer Randy Blythe. Apparently a Lamb of God fan in the Czech Republic died back in 2010 after he jumped a barricade and rushed Blythe three times during a show. A statement from the band’s manager says that the third time the fan rushed Blythe, security was unable to stop him and Blythe ended up pushing dude who then fell off the stage and hit his head. Blythe was arrested Wednesday and is charged with causing bodily harm resulting in death. Police have remained mum.
Headed to the studio
Sevendust is gearing up to get back into the studio. A Twitter message from the band simply said “SEPT 5TH!!!! STUDIO”. The band recently had a switch-up of players welcoming on three members of a Chicago area band. (It's Nonpoint that had the band switchup taking on new members from a Chicago area band.)
Goin' country
It’s not gonna be a rock album that Aaron Lewis releases next. Surely you’ll be able to get a taste of his new album when he’s at the State Fair next month. Shortly after his appearance at the Grandstand with country music star Eric Church, Lewis will release the new full-length country album The Road. Expect that to hit stores September 11th.
It's just a game
Meanwhile, get your plastic guitars, drum pads and crappy microphones out and send out the invites to your friends. Rock Band 3 is making available tunes from All American Rejects and Rise Against. Go to the appropriate store to download those tracks.
