Drummer “Wild” Mick Brown (Dokken, Lynch Mob, Ted Nugent) was arrested Sunday, July 8 after allegedly stealing a golf cart and driving it recklessly while under the influence in Bangor, Maine. Mick is currently playing drums for Ted Nugent, who is on tour with REO Speedwagon and Styx.
Reportedly, Brown stole a golf cart, was intoxicated and driving it recklessly around the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion on the foot path... Mick then picked up two girls and continued the joy ride… and stiff-armed a security guard as they tried to stop the cart. He was then physically removed from stolen golf cart and was arrested. No damage was reported to the cart although two traffic cones were damaged, one significantly!
Mick Brown, 55, of Cave Creek, Arizona, was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, theft and assault. He was released on $4,000 bail with a court date set for August 15.
This is what happens when rock drummers get bored while on tour opening for bands like REO Speedwagon and Styx. Can you blame him?
