Green Day plans on releasing two different documentaries about the lifestyles of rock and roll. The first film, expected early next year, will focus on their forthcoming trilogy albums ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, & ¡Tre!. The second documentary will feature footage and stories from the band’s earlier years. Front man Billy Joe Armstrong says that it’s not going to be some lame documentary where the band is sitting in front of a fireplace talking about how they started. He says that it’s gonna be a day in the life type of documentary where the footage tells the story. The first single from ¡Uno! titled “Oh Love” will be released on the radio and streaming on Green Day’s website this Monday. Be listening!

Taylor passes out
Maybe wearing a mask on stage while screaming in the blistering heat of the summer months isn’t the best way to stay conscious. Slipknot front man Corey Taylor passed out during the final song of the band’s performance down in Texas. He tweeted that he’s fine, just got a bit overheated. Also on the Slipknot front, the band’s planned Knotfest later this year will be live streamed, pay-per-view. You can get details online at EventViewLive.com. You’ll want to lock in your price at $14.95 for the August 18th live-stream because a week before the show, it jumps up to $19.95. Knotfest is a two-day concert event Summerset, Wisconsin. The live-stream will feature on and off-stage shenanigans. Don’t miss it!
