New Green Day
We’re getting more of a glimpse at some new Green Day tunes, even if the glimpse is fan shot video from a secret show at the Echoplex in California, Monday. Three videos have surfaced online showing the band in all their punk glory performing “Nuclear Family,” “Kill the DJ,” and “Wild One.” All three tunes are expected on the forthcoming album iUno! which is due out September 25th. They’ll release a box set featuring all their studio album from 1990 to 2009 early next month exclusively through Best Buy.
Headed to studio in January
Told you yesterday how Five Finger Death Punch is writing new music while out on the road. Now it’s being reported that the band hopes to get into the studio this January after they finish up the American Trespass Festival tour. The forthcoming album will be the band’s 4th studio attempt.
Draiman's writing bio
For you readers out there, David Draiman, the front man for Disturbed, is writing an autobiography. The singer has revealed through Twitter that he has already written three chapters and that it will be released to coincide with his new side project Device—it’s an industrial metal band featuring Filter’s Geno Lenardo. There’s no word on when either the autobiography or the Device album will be out. Disturbed took an indefinite hiatus last fall so that band members could pursue other endeavors.
