Five Finger Death Punch will fight you for that No. 1 spot |
No. 1 again
If you’re a rock star, how do you know you’re doing the things right? Well, when you’re like Five Finger Death Punch and the last ten songs you released to the radio join the top ten on the active rock charts—then you know you’re doing things right. This week their single “Coming Down” hit No. 1 which makes it the tenth consecutive track from FFDP to get on the top ten of active rock tunes. They not only have been on the top ten with ten songs, the past three tunes they’ve released have reached No. 1. The other two are “Under and Over it,” and “Remember Everything.” FFDP is currently on the road and said to be working on new material. Surely they’ve got their formula down to continue their success.

Last week we got a taste of the new Stone Sour and this week we’re getting at least one full course. The tune “Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero” is available streaming through RollingStone.com and will be on the forthcoming album House of Gold and Bones Part 1. Front man Corey Taylor says that the band is experimenting on different sounds with the concept album. Not only will there be an album, but Taylor says he’s working on a comic book to coincide with the release. We’re expecting the new Stone Sour out sometime next year.
