Drop from tour
Papa Roach’s Jocoby Shaddox has a nodule on his vocal chord which means the band can’t perform … which means … they’ve had to pull off of the Uproar Festival. Last week we learned that the band canceled their Uproar appearance in Grand Rapids. Over the weekend it was revealed that Papa Roach had to pull out entirely because of Shaddox’s ongoing vocal issues--dude's gonna need surgery. There are plenty of bands on Uproar, so there’s no issue filling time, but Adelitas Way just so happened to be in the right place at the right time. They’re now on the main stage!
Linkin Park is StormReady
You’ve heard about being battle ready, but what about storm ready? Linkin Park is storm ready for their current tour … no really, they are like seriously officially storm ready. The National Weather Service has reviewed and approved the band’s emergency preparedness as StormReady. What this means is that the “tour's proactive approach to weather-related hazards” has them ready in the face of storms when performing concerts. The National Weather Service says that they are confident that Linkin Park will help set the trend for other tours to get StormReady designation. Linkin Park is currently out on tour with Incubus for the Honda Civic Tour.
New album coming
Ill Niňo has a new album on the way out and the band has just revealed the album titile, and release date. Expect to pick up the band’s sixth full-length attempt Epidemia October 22nd.
