Rage Against The Machine album cover
Rage Against the Machine will be releasing their epic debut self-titled album … and there will be bonus tracks plus a bunch of other goodies! Believe it or not, but this will mark the 20th anniversary of the album. The three bonus tracks will include the band’s original demos. There will also be a box set made available with a DVD featuring with three videos and three live performances plus a DVD of their first live performance from way back in 1991, a performance from their 2010 London concert a poster and the remastered album on vinyl. All versions of the re-release are expected out November 17th!
Agree to disagree
Rage has always been political, but what about Kid Rock. Sure, we hear all the time about Kid Rock tunes being used at political rallies, but what about Rock asking fans to speak up about his politics. The Detroit native recently introduced the GOP Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan during a rally in Detroit Monday. Rock says that he’s ready to lose some fans, but he doesn’t care. He stands for something and he knows his fans may stand on the other side. He says it’s OK to disagree.
Dr. Feel Good
Bret Michaels is making good on a promise to give back to the hospital that treated him for his brain hemorrhage a couple of years ago. Tuesday he made good on that promise by setting up a hospitality and music room for children and their families. Michaels was treated at the St. Joseph’s Barrow Neurological Institute for a brain hemorrhage in 2010 and underwent a heart procedure at the hospital in 2011.
