Having their front man in rehab isn’t slowing Green Day down one bit, when it comes to releasing new music videos. The band has canceled all their shows for the rest of the year, but they also bumped up the release the last album in their trilogy from early next year to sometime in December. Now they’ve released the music video for “Forgotten.” The video uses a bunch of video effects and incorporates in-studio footage plus shots of the band live on stage. The song is a bit more on the soft side with piano leading the charge. “Forgotten” will be on the new soundtrack for the latest tweener vampire movie The Twighlight Saga: Part 2, which comes out November 13th, the same day Green Day will release iDos!. The movie, if you care, comes out November 16th. Watch the video below or at this link.
Wrestling fans, Billy Corgan is with you! The Smashing Pumpkins front man has long been a supporter of traditional pro-wrestling. He even has his on wrestling company. He says it’s like being a baseball manager. He assesses each wrestler and then comes up with story lines. Of course, this just reinforces to everyone else who doesn’t watch wrestling that it’s all scripted and way too over hyped. But Corgan says that doesn’t make it fake. He says it’s like an opera that uses swords or a movie that uses stunt people and special effects.
