Blythe's Fate Could Come Today, Streaming Online, and Record Store Day Metal

The WQLZ Music Minute--Music news written by Bishop for 92.7 WQLZ, The Rock Station

Randy Blythe

Blythe's fate could come today

The verdict is likely to be read today in the overseas case against Lamb of God front man Randy Blythe. According to reports, the Prague court heard from several witnesses, including two security guards, a 19-year-old fan and two psychologists. The young fan says she saw Blythe throw the victim off the stage. One security guard contradicted that testimony. The two psychologists were split on whether Blythe showed antisocial behavior. A verdict could be handed down today after more testimony from a police chief and a biomechanics expert. It’s been a grueling few years for Blythe as he faces manslaughter charges in the death of a fan who suffered a head injury after being thrown off the stage at a Lamb of God show. The fan died several days after the concert. That was back in 2010. Blythe was held in a Prague jail for several weeks late last year and his trial last month was postponed until this week. If convicted Blythe could get 10 years.  Watch news report below or at this link.
