Marilyn Manson has a heart
Rarely will the children of dead pop-star Michael Jackson make the QLZ Music Minute, unless she writes about missing a Marilyn Manson concert in a suicide note. The shock-rocker that your parents warned you about has reached out to Paris Jackson who reportedly cut her wrists, took pills and left a suicide note. Some of the reported reasons for Paris' attempt is boy trouble, school problems, her father's death, the trial about her father's death and not being allowed to go to a Marilyn Manson concert. Manson wrote Paris and told her she will be on his guest list anytime she wants.
Will it be another loss?
That's the question about this coming weekend's Orion Music + More festival in Detroit. The festival in it's second year, backed and headlined by Metallica, actually lost money last year ... according to drummer Lars Ulrich. In a businessweek.com report, Lars says that they're in it for the long haul and it may take a couple years to actually make money off the deal. The first year was in New Jersey. This year it's in Detroit. The line up includes Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Deftones and others.
