Itching for Tool, Steel Panther Tour, LA KISS, and New video

Itching for Tool

What’s the latest on the Tool front? Well, if you read into a Twitter message posted by guitarist Adam Jones then you’d think the album is already done and came out late last week … but then you would have realized that Tweet was a joke because a later tweet from Jones reiterated that he was “just kidding.”

It’s been almost 8 years since the band dropped 10,000 Days and fans are getting a bit testy. Some reports indicate that the band is 100 percent done with the record while others have stated fans shouldn’t expect to get their hands on the new attempt until next year. Either way, this drought of new Tool music is hard to bear. The band is currently on the road with a couple of US dates, all on the western part of the country.

Steel Panther Tour

Steele Panther are taking to the road for their “All You Can Eat” tour. The modern update to the 80s big hair and spandex rock scene will be touring all throughout the US, but the closest they’ll be to central Illinois is … either Cleveland, Ohio, May 29th or Kansas City, Missouri, May 31st. Have fun traveling!

Are you ready for some football? How about some Arena Football? Well, KISS sure as hell is! The band already has everything from records to dolls to lunch boxes and even wines … why not a football team? Paul Stanley posted an update of what their Arena Football Team’s helmet and jersey will look like. The helmet is absolutely covered by flames on a shiny silver base with the top part of the jersey, just around the shoulder pad area, also covered in flames. LA KISS will play their first Arena Football game March 15th against the San Antonio Talons.

New video

Loudwire has the exclusive on the latest Buckcherry video. The tune “Dreamin’ of You” is a light-hearted acoustic song and the video features a group of different people on a beach absorbing the sand and sun. Eventually someone throws a bottle out into the ocean, presumably with a message. Then the sun goes down and everyone happily around a fire. It’s not your typical Buckcherry tune with all kinds of debauchery and partying. It’s actually very mellow.
