Wanna get your macabre rocks off? Well be sure to check out the never-before-seen pictures developed from Kurt Cobain's death scene. The pics were developed by police from a roll of film that never made it to the dark room. They were taken inside and outside the home where Cobain committed suicide 20 years ago in Seattle. Some of the latest photos revealed include Cobain's open wallet, the box of drug paraphernalia, a green house and even what appears to be a hand written suicide not nailed to the wall with a pen. Seattle police aren't reopening the investigation, they say they're merely refreshing their memory in anticipation of the 20th anniversary of the Nirvana singer's untimely death.
Flaming Side of the Moon
Meanwhile it's not the first time the Flaming Lips have released something that requires several listening devices to be in sync to get the full effect. The band's put out Flaming Side of the Moon which is supposed to sync up with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Back in the 90s, the band put out an album that had 4 CD's and each disc had to be played on a different CD player and synced up so that all the various elements could be heard. Quite bizarre, but pretty awesome.
It's no secret that the singer of Iron Maiden loves being high ... in the air ... and now Bruce Dickenson is putting his money where his ... well, passion is. Dude's got his pilot's license and it's not for some small single engine Cesna. He can fly those big commercial airlines. He even flies his band around in their own airliner, for crying out loud. Now it's being reported that he's dropped some large coin as an investor in a large blimp. The environmentally friendly airship is the longest flying craft to have been created and can carry 50 tons of cargo and passengers. Dickinson hopes to fly that beast around the world twice and stream the journey on the internet.
Meanwhile 3 Days Grace will be graced by Matt Walst from here on out. And, there's big news coming soon. The singer of My Darkest Days is also the brother of 3 Days Grace's bassist and he stepped up to fill the void after the sudden exit of Adam Gontier. It's unclear what the next move is for My Darkest Days, but we'll keep you posted.
