Sixx Acting Like a Bitch, Back in the USA But Not Behind the Set, and Trippy Video

Sixx acting like a bitch

It’s not just a twitter spat between Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx and Godsmack’s Sully Erna over the Godsmack song “Crying Like a Bitch” … Now it’s bleeding into Erna’s livelihood. The headline reads “Nikki Sixx: Motley Crue Threatened to Ditch Headlining Festival if Godsmack Played” (read more here). And that’s not speculation or conjecture … that’s words out of Sixx’s own mouth. During a recent episode of Nikki Sixx’s radio show, Sixx Sense, Sixx shared the story about Godsmack wanting to come on his show to promote their new album—something the Motley Crue bassist immediately denied. He then goes on to say “there’s probably 15 festivals that Motley Crue is headlining and that we said if Godsmack’s on ‘em, we’re not doing them” … It’s a dirty trick that rival bands have been known to do in the past, but it’s never been this open. Sixx says that’s not the last of his revenge. And, honestly … kinda sounds like he’s crying like a bitch … or at least acting like one!

Back in the USA but not behind the set

After being convicted in a Dubai court of being drunk at an airport, flipping the bird and disrespecting the religion of Islam, Scorpions drummer James Kottak is back in the US. The band took to their Facebook page to let fans know that Kottak is back in the US. A statement simply says “He will have to find the time to sort out his problems.” Not sure what the hell that means, but OK. What is clear though, Kottak has been replaced as Scorpions drummer while the band tours in Europe.

Trippy video

Chino fans, the Deftones front man’s side project ††† (Crosses) has a new video out for the tune “Telepathy” and it’s quite the collage. At times it feels as if you’re looking through a kalidescope. There is a UFO, a bizarre dance floor with a bunch of neon lights, a ton of video effects and a woman pulling a crystal out of some dude’s head and then taken into a negative-art world to meet her UFO overlord. In other words … it’s trippy as hell.
